Session Limits
Each session will be limited (in number). This summer all sessions are at Creighton University and campers will be able to train and play at Morrison Stadium - the new state-of-the-art soccer stadium on Creighton's campus - and other area soccer fields. Check out Creighton Soccer to view Creighton soccer pictures.
Check in/Check out
Overnight campers will check in between 1 and 3 pm on the first day of each camp session and commuter campers will begin checking in at 2:15 pm. An all-camp meeting will begin at 3:30 pm. The Academy session ends at 11:00 am on the last day of camp and all campers need to check out by 12:00 pm.
Commuters at Camp
Commuters have the same camp experience in terms of instruction. Lunch and dinner are provided to commuters, however commuter fees do not include lodging or breakfast. Commuter campers must arrive by 8:15 am and check in with their assigned coach at the dorm area on subsequent camp days. The commuters’ day ends at approximately 8:45 pm at the conclusion of evening matches.
Supervision
Mature and responsible staff members supervise all activities both on and off the field. No one is allowed to leave campus or leave their group during camp. We have security on duty in the dorms.
Free Time
There is practically no free time. We give every camper a full day of soccer training. We want serious players who want to improve.
Swim Time
There is an Olympic-sized indoor pool and hot tub available exclusively for the campers at the Kiewith Fitness Center, right next to the dorms.
Extra Spending Money
Meals are all-you-can-eat and included in the cost. The snack bar is open daily and some campers like to order pizza for a night snack.
Medical Staff
Athletic trainers are on staff 24 hours a day.
Evaluations
Each player receives an honest and accurate written evaluation from his head coach after each session of the Academy. In addition, all campers receive a written self-improvement program that will help them in their progress as players after the camp.
College Recruiting Information
All high school upperclassmen will be offered a college recruiting information session and an opportunity to tour the Creighton University campus.
Soccer Ball
New this year! Diadora has created a specially designed soccer ball for the Creighton Soccer Academy with the Creighton Soccer Academy and Jays logo. This limited edition ball is the exact same quality as Diadora Seire A ball that retails for $60. The ball is the same ball that the Creighton Bluejays use for training and matches. The ball is available at cost for only $35 while supplies last.
Backpack or nap sack
All campers who register and pay-in-full by April 1, 2008, will receive a free Diadora soccer backpack! All campers enrolling after April 1, 2008 will receive a Diadora nap sack the first day of camp.
